Ingredients
1 1/4 C sugar
1/2 C corn syrup
1/2 C water
2 T butter
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 C unsalted peanuts
1/2 t baking soda
How To
In a sauce pan on medium heat, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Insert a candy thermometer.
Stir slowly over medium heat to 280F. Add the peanuts, butter and vanilla and continue stirring until 305F.
At 305F, remove from the heat and quickly stir in the baking soda, don't let the mixture overflow.
Pour onto a greased cookie sheet and quickly spread it, forming a big rectangle. Cool then break into pieces!
