Ingredients
1 C sugar
1 C butter
1/4 C water
1/2 C semisweet chocolate chips or white morsels
1/2 C M&m's (use pastels for that easter touch)
How To
Just combine everything in a saucepan over medium heat to 300F, it'll take about 13 minutes.
Once the caramel gets to 300F pour and spread it on a greased cookie sheet, let it harden a bit, then pour the chocolate chips over the caramel and spread with a spatula. Cover with m&ms or almonds, pretty much anything you can think of.
For a more classic toffee, line the cookie sheet with foil and place almonds on the paper, so that the caramel is poured over them. Top with more almonds.
