Ingredients
1 3/4 C Flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/2 C butter, softened
3/4 C sugar
2 eggs
3 large bananas, mashed
2 T lemon juice
1 1/2 t vanilla extract
1C chopped walnuts
How To
Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a 9x5 in loaf pan, and set aside.
On a medium bowl combine all the dry ingredients, except for the sugar and nuts.
In a separate bowl, with an electric mixer, mix the butter and sugar until blended. Mix in the eggs, bananas, lemon juice, and vanilla.
Stir in the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the nuts, be careful to not over mix! Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes, until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Take out and let it cool, or you can eat it warm... I think it tastes better that way.
